MOUNT PLACEMENT
The Bolt Hitch’s
unique design allows the hitch position to be adjusted in the bed to
accommodate various trailers, load distributions and turning
clearance requirements. The most common position for a ball is
center of the axle. However, you must check the clearance radius of
the trailer you will be pulling to determine that you have enough
clearance from the cab of the truck.
|
|
NOTE: On some long
bed trucks, there will not be 4 bolts per side. The hitch is secured
with 3 bolts on each side, starting from the rear forward. The bolt
positions in the rail in front of the 3rd hole (front of hitch angle
bracket) will be left open. |
